HOLE! is a musical about a strict religious sect in Nebraska who wear butt plugs at all times. Why? Because they believe that if they take them out, a wrathful God shall suck them up, ass-first, to burn on the face of the sun. The crazy thing is: they're right. In the apocalyptic aftermath of The Great Sucking, the only people left on earth are the fanatical Nebraskans… and anyone else who was wearing a butt plug at the time. In a world where pulling your plug spells certain death, two young men who are definitely not in love embark on an epic mission to discover life outside their cult.

Think of it like a video essay, but performed live, and with plenty of opportunity for questions and audience interaction throughout. Some months, she will also be joined by a guest lecturer who will give a talk on a related (or unrelated) theme. Sara is a comedian, trans woman, and also about to be a graduate student in philosophy at Cal State LA!
