As Elysian Theater 2024 artists-in-residence, Freak Nature Puppets grew a show called "Freak Nature Presents: Freak Nature." It's about a place called Freak Nature, which is kind of a theme park, kind of a national park, mostly really cool and awesome, and importantly it's 100% real. This October, flights to Freak Nature will board once again to see a TOTALLY new version of the show.
Freak Nature is a collective of artists based in Los Angeles. Their first full length show was "Nosferatu's Sweet 16:" at the Elysian Theater's Spaghetti Festival 2023, which was also revived as a 4D experience in 2025. It was really awesome. They also host Puppet Sundae, an annual community puppet workshop/slam, in the Skunk Room at the Elysian. Their past collaborators include a lot of random awesome people and bands it's all listed at freaknaturepuppets.com if you wanna check it out.
