A mostly music show meant to foster a deep sense of joy and belonging. Benjamin Jaffe will perform new and old musics and feature new and old performers attempting to add one more pretty little square to the collective quilt of our shared culture.

Filmmakers showcase the first (and worst) films they ever made. We share a big cathartic laugh as we come to terms with the past and cringe our way through the night. BSFF is equal parts film festival, comedy show and group therapy. After two blocks of short films, all are welcome to join a laid-back afterparty with ridiculous awards and casual networking.

ROBOT KARAOKE is a live comedy show with songs you know and new lyrics no one ever has sung. Our custom system, THE WEIRD ALGORITHM, rewrites karaoke classics syllable-for-syllable using fragments of the internet.

We might sing OKCUPID PROFILES to the tune of "I WILL SURVIVE", NEGATIVE REVIEWS OF CANDY LAND to the tune of "SAY IT AIN'T SO", or any combination of song and text in the catalog.

At the main stage show (7:30pm), special guests from the music, entertainment and advanced karaoke research industries will bravely test the limits of the human mind's capacity for chaos.

At the late show (9pm), we'll migrate next door to the Skunk Room and open the stage to audience requests until closing time.

A surreal, autobiographical dark musical comedy about a musician's torrid love affair with their tapeworm. A rollercoaster of illness, sex, and spiritual self-discovery, you'll watch Mia and Squirm dance and sing and fart and poop their way towards healing.

The Doubleclicks (Laser Webber and his sister Aubrey Turner) wrote silly songs about dinosaurs, Dungeons and Dragons, and Mr. Darcy. Silly. Light. Novelty! Their sibling harmonies and YouTube consistency led to a 10-year career of rocking Portland's smallest rooms from 2009-2019. Then... some things happened. Laser and Aubrey are back together this November with the same songs—which, in retrospect, tell in detail Laser's story of being a closeted trans, undiagnosed autistic, emotionally awesome guy, using pop culture and ukulele songwriting to cope with a challenging world. We can't wait to see you again, or for the first time! It'll be the same songs... with a few key changes.
