Jealous fairies steal a human child and replace it with one of their own: a creature made to look and sound almost exactly like the one taken… almost. This being causes endless suffering for its “mother”—but does it mean to? And where does it really belong? Changeling is a clown-y exploration of a dark fairy tale about “problem children” and problem parents.
