NO REGERTS: A Story of Bad Tattoos Covered Up by Worse Ones (The Vault)

“NO REGERTS” is a story about bad tattoos…covered up by worse ones.

From “tribal” tats as a (queer, ADHD, Filipino) teenager in Appalachia to human canvas on a tattoo reality show, writer/standup/ex-rapper Claire Luisa (@claireluisabiz) gives a tour of the mistakes a former bad girl made with–and on–her body. With elements of storytelling, cabaret, and audience participation…so we can see your bad ones, too! Because nothing is truly permanent, so just go for it!

Featuring live tattooing by Sinuba Zero of Original Sin Tattoo (@originalsin.tattoo)
Directed by Alina Konon (@kononalina, Brainwashed, Stuffed Cabbage)

Songwriter Ron Persky and Idiot John Gilkey are best friends. Come write hit songs with them as they debate the merits of philosophy, friendship, amazing musicians - and then also Bob Dylan. They're the magic 8 ball of Clown - ask a question and then shake them for an answer. In other words, if AI were a singular person, it’d be Ron and John.

A message from John Gilkey:
I don’t know much but I do know talent when I see it. I was once a well known circus performer, recognized internationally as a pioneer in the field until I eventually faded away into obscurity. While there in obscurity I came across the most fascinating little fellow who wanders around dusty towns with a guitar on his back making beautiful music for anyone who will listen. And boy did I listen. His name is Ron Persky and I just think this is the young man the world needs right now.
