Inspired by the massive popularity of American Girl Dolls, their tragic histories and diverse trauma, introducing: American Boy Dolls! From abandoned orphans to criminalized children in poverty, American Boys demonstrate this nation’s variant cultures and violent past through customizable dolls available at a premium price. On this day, four quintessential American Boys - a Christian missionary, aspiring astronaut, ghost from Puritan New England, and “Jake” - unite under one singular goal: to become American Men.
This is a work-in-progress clown show & the second new work generated by The Law Offices during their 2026 Elysian Residency!
Kaylin Mahoney, Alison Ormsby, Gwenmarie White, and Tillie Steele met at The Clown School in 2024, made a blood oath a month later, and agreed to go into business together as successful lawyers at law.
They developed their first show in 2025, a multimedia black metal clown fever dream called Nekrotik Inanna, which debuted at the Elysian’s Spaghetti Festival.
As the Elysian’s 2026 Company in Residence, The Law Offices will continue developing Nekrotik Inanna, the first in their repertoire of “Four Brothers” shows, on the main stage periodically throughout the year. In addition, every month they will debut a new set of disturbing (and probably kissing) brothers to see what sticks. Since their residency began they’ve already created two shows that have been added to their regular rotation: Sweeps and American Boy Dolls.
