🎙️ 〰️

Set in an apocalyptic world unraveling under the weight of late-stage capitalism, The Last Podcast on Earth explores the complexities of female friendship, fame, the absurdities of our digital age, and begs the question - is anyone listening?

Featuring: Sarah Coffey (actor), Kaley Ronayne (writer/actor), Will Madden (actor), Shiv Nadkarni (stage directions), Nikki DiLoreto (director), and Frank Mosley (producer).

THE LAST PODCAST ON EARTH is a new play by Kaley Ronayne - a writer and actor from the Midwest. She originated the role of Margaret in the play 'Horse Girls' at the Cell Theatre in New York City, and her writing work has been performed in New York at venues such as The Cherry Lane Theatre, Littlefield, the Tank, and more.

THE LAST PODCAST ON EARTH was first performed at The Tank Theatre in New York City in September 2024.

This brand new version of the play, read for the first time in LA, is performed by Sarah Coffey ("31 CANDLES", "QUEEN OF THE DEAD"), Kaley Ronayne ("THE RESIDENT", "WHITE SANDS"), Will Madden ("ERUPCJA", WOLF OF SNOW HOLLOW"). Shiv Nadkarni ("TURBINADO", "HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL") reads stage directions. Nikki DiLoreto ("SIX", "KISS ME, KATE") directs. Frank Mosley ("FREELAND", "CHAINED FOR LIFE") produces.

This is the third in a series of staged readings by the Los Angeles based collective REQUIRED READING. Proceeds from this performance at The Elysian Theater will go toward CHIRLA (The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights). CHIRLA is one of California’s largest and most effective advocates for immigrant rights, organizing, educating and defending immigrants and refugees in the streets, in the courts, and in the halls of power.
