Happy Pride! Did you know it’s not just human who are celebrating their queerness in June?! That’s right, there are over 1500 species that have documented engaging in homosexual behavior, including many of our primate cousins. From bonobo female GG rubbing, to monkey 69ing (“suck macaque” anyone?), to girl-on-girl gorillas- humans clearly do NOT have the market cornered on queer kink. Plus we’ll talk about gay penguin papas, the American buffalo literally putting the ‘bi’ in bison, and queer dolphins forming lifelong bromances- they found their special porpoise! And you know the amazing Ricky Chavez will be there with his fabulous puppets and Dolores the clitoris will bring her segment to Junk of the Month! There will be burlesque too…Announcing more cast members shortly.

Now let’s get super gay!

Content Warning: nudity

Natalia Reagan is a biological anthropologist, comedian, professor, frequent animal expert, showgirl, and monkey chasing weirdo. Natalia has been a comedy writer and correspondent on Neil deGrasse Tyson’s StarTalk, regular host of the StarTalk All-Stars podcast, an animal expert on Nat Geo Wild’s Everything You Didn’t Know about Animals, and podcaster for Scientific American’s Science Quickly. Your dad has probably seen her on on History’s Unbelievable & UnXplained, Travel Channel’s Paranormal Caught on Camera, or co-hosting Spike TV’s 10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty. Before becoming a scientist, Natalia was an actress and comedian. It took getting hit by her own ‘94 Ford Ranger on the shoulder of the 101 freeway for her to go back to school to become an anthropologist. For her master’s fieldwork, she conducted a survey of the Azuero spider monkey in rural Panama- these results are currently being used in reforestation efforts. After grad school, Natalia began producing science comedy videos in her garage covering such titillating topics as the evolution of boobs, butts, balls, and Bigfoot. Natalia believes comedy is ideal for democratizing science. She also performs burlesque as Prof. Eva Lution, urging audiences to come for the tatas and stay for the science! Natalia currently lives in her hometown of LA and produces science comedy content for herself and others while her hyper-critical pug, Raisin, quietly judges from her throne of lies (the couch).
