Join StraightioLab co-hosts and intellectual gay guys George Civeris and Sam Taggart as they return to the only true art form left: standup comedy. Yes, they're co-headlining a night of comedy that is sure to include astute observations, biting commentary, and perhaps even mild self-reflection (on your part - not theirs).


George Civeris is a standup comedian and writer based in New York. According to the American media apparatus, he is "known for his monster wit and broad palate" (Nylon) while his comedy "collapses the divide between high art and low" (Vulture). He was named one of the New Faces of Comedy by the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and most recently one of Vulture's "Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2024." He has written for projects on Comedy Central, FOX, and the BBC, and recently spent two years as a senior editor at the reboot of Gawker. He co-hosts two iHeart podcasts: StraightioLab, which was named the #1 comedy podcast of 2022 by New York Magazine, and The United States of Kennedy, an upcoming pop-culture history show about our enduring obsession with the Kennedy family.

Sam Taggart is currently based in LA. Originally a Brooklyn-based queer comedian, actor and writer, Sam is currently writing on After Midnight for CBS. Most recently, Sam was a writer on the critically acclaimed Showtime/A24 series ZIWE is co-host of the Big Money Players podcasts StraightioLab. He can be seen in the upcoming series FANTASMAS opposite Julio Torres, Los Espooky’s, Search Party, ZIWE, and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. He voiced and created an original animated feature MILLENNIAL HUNTER. Sam was selected as a member of the Comedy Central Digital Creators Program in 2020, he performed at Comedy Central's Clusterfest as part of their UpNext showcase, and was named one of Vulture’s Comics You Should and Will Know in 2021.

-Seating begins 15 minutes before showtime, there is NO LATE SEATING. -Seating is general admission - seats are available on a first come first serve basis, from the front of the theater to the back. If you want to sit closer, be sure to arrive earlier. -Shows start no later than 10 MINUTES after the scheduled show time. -We will have a standby line for sold out shows 30 minutes before doors open. If there are no-shows that create open seats, we will be able to sell additional tickets. -In the event of a sold out show, ticketholders who arrive 30 minutes after show start may lose their seats to the standby line.
