SQUIRM: A True Story is an autobiographical dark musical comedy that follows Mia and their tapeworm, Squirm, through their codependent romance. Hilarious, heartfelt, and disgusting, this show will take you on a ride through the literal guts of a musician trying to break free from the constraints of anything and everything they hide behind to keep themself small.

Mia Schachter is an author, musician, and multi-media artist. They draw from their background as a consent educator and intimacy coordinator, as well as their studies in philosophy, neuroscience, and gender to create exceedingly intimate art about the nexus of all these themes. Consent, sexuality, relationships, gender, and power dynamics are always on their mind.
