Squirm: A True Story is a surreal, autobiographical dark musical comedy about a musician's romantic, codependent relationship with their tapeworm. When the tapeworm once again tries to take over their life, Mia has to worm their way back in charge of the narrative. Reckoning with an exorcism, their new freedom, and what it means to live in a body, Mia has to interrogate the road blocks they've hid behind to keep themself small.
