This October, Freak Nature & Friends transform the entire Elysian Theater into Nosferatu’s Castle — a maze of terrifying horrors, DIY puppetry, and one very interesting vampire family band. Avoid certain death on your passage through the haunted forest and suffocating dungeons to arrive at the Great Hall, where the birthday celebration truly begins. Will we party all night long? Or will things go horribly wrong, instigating a journey full of feral twists and devious turns featuring original music and giant puppets?

Back by popular demand and fully re-“vamped” since its first sold out run at the Elysian in 2023, you won’t want to miss Freak Nature’s one-of-a-kind haunted house experience & weirdo-pop giant puppet musical.

Freak Nature Puppets is a collective of artists, performers, and puppeteers from Los Angeles. Their past collaborators include Dead & Company, Childish Gambino, and David Liebe Hart. Their work channels stream of consciousness through collaborative giant puppets to get to absurd conclusions. "Freak Nature & Friends" are the shows that happen when they work with all their besties.

*Doors open 30 minutes before showtime*

-Seating begins 15 minutes before showtime, there is NO LATE SEATING. -Seating is general admission - seats are available on a first come first serve basis, from the front of the theater to the back. If you want to sit closer, be sure to arrive earlier. -Shows start no later than 10 MINUTES after the scheduled show time. -We will have a standby line for sold out shows 30 minutes before doors open. If there are no-shows that create open seats, we will be able to sell additional tickets. -In the event of a sold out show, ticketholders who arrive 30 minutes after show start may lose their seats to the standby line.
