The Miss Woof Woof Doggy VisionEyez BarkUP Sparkling Sunshine State Drag Pageant Spectacular 2025 is a pitch-black comedy set in the ridiculous (and glamorous!) world of a local drag pageant. Four ambitious contestants—with questionable talent and grace—each expect to win, and the queen who runs the pageant isn’t ready to let go of the crown. But when queens start dropping like flies, those left must uncover who’s responsible—and fight to survive -- while still trying to win the pageant itself.

The show blends live drag performances with theatrical storytelling, inviting the audience to first invest in the pageant drama before revealing itself as a play-within-a-drag-show. Think Waiting for Guffman meets Clue—a queer, campy, ensemble-driven comedy with high theatricality and real stakes. Rooted in today’s political moment, it explores and celebrates community, ambition, and drag as a powerful, resilient art form.

Emily Westheimer (Co-Creator, Venus Infer) is an actress, drag performer, comedian, writer, emcee and cult survivor. Her work often utilizes disjointed narratives, a combination of plain language with obscure references, and a deep love of queer/drag culture. Adam "A.P." Pulver (Co-Creator, Kansas Oop) is a writer and drag performer who most recently worked as a staff writer on FOX's dance-dramedy series THE BIG LEAP. He has written over 20 plays, and served for eight years as Literary Manager and Dramaturg for Seven Devils Playwrights Conference, supporting writers in new script development. @pulverwrites @supnebrasska
