When Kara arrives late to her own solo show, her "inner voices" step up to cover for her. Kara's Inner Perfectionist leads the charge and attempts to wrangle Kara's other inner voices (The Inner Child, Anxiety, Sir Brad, Brigitte and the dreaded "Ego") in a desperate attempt save face and "get it right".
Kara began creating her "inner voices" characters in 2021 when she was diagnosed with OCD. Her Perfectionist character was the first to go viral online, and was soon followed by her characters the Inner Child, the Ego, Anxiety, The Inner French person and many more. "Inner Voices" is about Kara's search for peace and acceptance among all the varied parts of her self.

"Inner Voices" is written and performed by Kara Morgan. Kara is a main company member of the Groundlings Theater with over a decade of experience writing and directing her own content. Her short films TROUBLE IN TRAINSVILLE and MAGNIFICAT have been shown at film festivals across the country. Kara created the stop motion sequences in Janet Varney’s FORTUNE ROOKIE (IFC) and has also appeared in NIGHT COURT (NBC). A trained opera singer, Kara co-created the opera sitcom BELLI GEMELLI with Heidi Tungseth, winning the Pick of the Fringe, the Encore Producers Award and the Outrageous Award for Theater at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Seating begins 15 minutes before showtime, there is NO LATE SEATING. Seats are assigned on a first come first served basis, from the front of the theatre to the back. If you want to sit closer, be sure to arrive earlier.
Shows start no later than 10 MINUTES after the scheduled show time.
