How To Be Patient with Isabella Gerasole (The Vault)

🍝

〰️

🍝 〰️

Izzy has been a standardized patient, or "medical actor", for eight years. A typical day at work could include anything from pretending to have schizophrenia to performing a live birth simulation, complete with hemorrhage (that's her favorite). Pull back the hospital curtain to reveal how the doctors of tomorrow are trained to communicate - and maybe get a neuro exam, while you're at it.

Directed by Jenna Levin

Isabella "Izzy" Gerasole is an actor, comedian, and James Beard Award Winner (2006 Best Webcast, look it up). Favorite LA credits include Shipping! The Musical (Elysian Theater), Late Night Lecture Series (Elysian Theater), Survivor, Island of Idiots (Season 2, Elysian Theater), Funny or Die Lab (Dynasty Typewriter), and being crowned the winner of the "Pansexual Bachelor" (Elysian Theater). She is thrilled to be back at Spaghetti after co-writing and starring in the original musical "She's Loud, He's Quiet!" at the inaugural festival in 2022. You can see her monthly at UCB as a cast member in Quick & Funny Musicals.
