The Best Man Show

🍾

〰️

🍾 〰️

You’re cordially invited to this interactive polyamorous wedding reception, where the Groom’s brother delivers a speech you’ll never forget! It starts out fun and silly, with your typical masculine roasting and ribbing – and gradually devolves into a drunken chaotic mess where Paul tries to understand what it means to love, but can’t get over his own toxic masculinity to recognize his loneliness. Throughout the show, audience members are cast to play various wedding guests.

“A solo performance that define[s] the phrases Tour-de-Force and comedy masterclass.” ★★★★★ – The Reviews Hub

“had me screaming and hollering with laughter.”
★★★★★ – Binge Fringe

“a tour-de-force of intense, falling-apart-at-the-seams clowning”
★★★★ – Chortle

Mark Vigeant is a high-energy, wildly inventive comedic performer blending clown, improv, physical theater, and multimedia. Based in Los Angeles, he’s currently touring two hit solo shows: The Best Man Show—a five-star, award-winning chaotic drunken toast gone off the rails—and Out There, a high-tech, deeply interactive survivalist satire that thrusts the audience into the Alaskan wilderness.

Mark’s previous solo work includes Mark Pleases You, which earned critical acclaim at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe after winning “Best of the Fest” in San Diego and the “Hollywood Producer’s Encore Award” in LA. His first show, Let’s Make a Website, sold out at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and toured nationally from the Kennedy Center to Comedy Central’s Clusterfest.

A longtime staple of the comedy scene, Mark was a founding member of the lo-fi sketch group OSFUG and hosted the tech-comedy variety show Internet Explorers at Caveat NYC. He trained in sketch and improv at UCB, acting at The Actor’s Gang, and clown with Dr. Brown, John Gilkey and Kevin Krieger.
